Many people who struggle with body positivity feel like they have to hide out. Some do this by wearing plain clothes and trying not to draw attention to their bodies. Others work to overcompensate for their body by becoming “smart” or “strong” or a different quality that they believe is essential to being accepted.
But you’re not alone with these feelings and what’s more, you can work through them!
