Wouldn't you like to look at your body with love? 

There's a body positivity movement taking the world by storm. More and more women are starting to embrace themselves... curves and all. They are beginning to say #effyourbeautystandards to society, Hollywood, and anyone else that says 'you have to look a certain way to fit in and be accepted'. 

I had no idea there was such a thing as this movement until a few years ago. And because of it, and a few key women in my life, my life has changed! One of those key women was a yoga instructor who said something very profound to me during my very first class with her (and yoga in general)... 

"You have permission to take up space just as you are. Fat and all!"

What the bleepity bleep bleep!?! 

There was more to what she was saying but that was the gist of it and exactly what I needed to hear at exactly that moment in my life.

Nobody had ever given me permission to take up space as a fat person! Instead I was taught from a very young age that it was not acceptable to be a big person. I went on my very first diet in the 5th grade! 5th grade!

And that started a lifelong journey of self-hatred, disordered eating (binging/purging, starvation, laxatives - you name it I've tried it!), and never being comfortable in my skin unless I was losing weight. 

Going back to that yoga instructor...

That was just a few years ago. I was 43 at the time and since then I have learned to not only accept my body but to actually love it. 

I now proudly, loudly, boldly, and confidently (that's a mouthful lol) take up space just as I am... FAT and all! 

And that's why I'm so excited to bring you the Discovering What It Means To Love Your Body Group Coaching.

I know firsthand the trickster bullcrap that can keep you in your head and continuing to see your body (and yourself) as something less than you and your body are - AWESOME & AMAZING. 

I would like to work alongside you (and others) so I'm excited to introduce you to this group coaching experience. 

This is a group setting where we will meet for 3 sessions to discuss and work through questions from the 'My Body Positive Journal - Discovering What It Means To Love Your Body' journal (included when you sign up).

We will meet online in person via Zoom each day. If you can't make it, don't worry, each session will be recorded!

We'll be working through the 'My Body Positive Journal - Discovering What It Means To Love Your Body' journal. This journal has been a big part of my life the last few years as I started (and continue) to work on accepting myself and loving my body! 

Why a journal?

Daily journaling is a wonderful habit that can transform your life if you let it. It works best when you create room for it in your life. Some people prefer to journal first thing in the morning so they can start their days feeling energized. Others prefer the quiet of early afternoons or late nights.
