Body shaming runs rampant in society. But what about all the nasty, negative, hateful things you say to yourself and all the things you won't allow yourself to do because you're embarrassed by what you see? That's body shaming too. And today's show ends with an invitation – stop hating your body.

I talk about something I'm so passionate about – body positivity and helping other women to embrace (and yes even love) their bodies so they take up space confidently, comfortably and most of all unapologetically.
I spent most of my life, up until a few years ago, HATING my body and everything about it. I spent most of my life sitting on the sidelines watching life whiz past me. I hid in the shadows trying to shrink and take up as little space as possible… because that's what fat people should do because nobody wants to see that ______ (fat person showing thighs, arms, belly, standing on stage, sitting next to them… the list goes on and on).
The turning point when I not only ditched the diets (and the scale) but ditched all the bull sh*t stories of believing something was unloveable, unacceptable, and wrong with me because I was fat was October 2018.
